Although putting the table together is straight forward, the machining on the bolts is beyond poor; meaning that putting them in is very tricky, they simply do not thread smoothly. I tried WD-40 which helped somewhat and then a little lithium grease. My advice is to screw each bolt fully into the leg before trying to fasten to the table. Once you get the screw in fully, you can remove it and then try to fasten the leg. I managed to get it put together, but it will take time, patience and some lubricants . That said, the shape of the legs elevates the look quite a bit and the finish quality is above what you would expect at the price point. It was well boxed and I had no damage. Also, there was absolutely no chemical smell that often radiates off these kinds of products. It appears actually to be real wood. Now that it is assembled, I am happy with it.. Gregory. I bought the 36 inch size. Gorgeous! Unique and beautiful. Well made, easy to put together. It is a simple build, as though instead of wasting resources on details the effort was put into the quality. The only trouble with it is that those gaps between the legs are much thinner than an average dining chair. So if you like to tuck your chairs all the way underneath, you have to measure the chairs carefully! I will be adjusting the frames on my wood dining chairs in order to fit this table properly. They have to be custom size. The reddish walnut colour is stunning and matches my sideboard to a tee! Worth it purchase!! I am not returning the item because of the lentgh or time it took to be delivered however any advice about what to do would be great. Excellent table, matches well with our color palette. My one complaint would be the fact that the attachment method for the table top to the base is dependent upon wood screws with only about 3/4" thread engagement into the tabletop. I think there could be a better and stronger design for that, and the base is very light - it doesn't feel like a solid acacia or walnut, which is a little surprising for the price. I ordered this 4 seater table set in white and the 6 seater table too. The chairs are heavy, and so are the tables. Especially the 6 seater. They look really great and the chairs are curved in the seat which is comfortable. My only issue is the round table base design does not allow for a standard umbrella stand. Bummer. I will have to find a lower profile. Be aware the curved base design on the feet of the 4 seater table is 2" from the ground meaning, you will need a "flat" umbrella holder or one that is no higher than 1 1/2".
