I was a little skeptical because this Kitchen Island was fairly inexpensive. I opted to pay to have it assembled and that was done today. I love it. It has as much space as i hoped since it was only 43" long and the cabinets and drawers are ample size to hold a lot of kitchen items. This is so much more useful than the table and chairs for two that I had there before. The Island is sturdy, attractive and versatile. The stools are very comfortable. My only complaint is that before ordering I called Wayfair customer service to find out if I could purchase the item but delay delivery. The person i spoke to assured me that as soon as I had a tracking number I could contact Fed Ex and reschedule. I got the tracking number too late to stop the delivery which came in two days instead of three as noted on the order. Most people would not complain about this but I had a flight the day of delivery; luckily it arrived before I had to leave for the airport. Have had this for about a month now and love it. Wasn't too awful to put together and is quite sturdy. I have it pushed up against my standing desk. It's heavy on it's own and even more so with my tower on it. Fortunately, the wheels below make it easy to move and clean under. I would recommend it. Oh! Beautiful island especially for the price! It took me 40 mins to put together alone and 9 months pregnant, but for any regular person it would take much less time! The stainless steel is obviously not heavy duty and I see it getting scratched in the very near future but that doesn’t bother me, especially at the price point it’s at.
