This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. This item is beautiful, functions great, I love that the tub spout can be moved out of the way, it's a high quality item that my contractor suggested I buy because it's all metal parts (not plastic parts that will break). Well worth the cost, I think it was reasonably priced anyway. Very well made. It looks beautiful in the bathroom. The photo doesn't do it justice - I ordered the brushed nickel, I don't know why it looks really dark in the photo but it's not. I would definitely buy it again and highly recommend.. Victoria. LA.
