Very happy with this purchase. For a dual hose air conditioner I think this is a good middle of the road option for places like where I live (nor cal) where humidity is not an issue. I did try to use a hose attachment which wasn’t readily available for this unit and it did leak. However the bottom drain works perfectly. The caveat with this machine is that you absolutely cannot lose the remote otherwise you cannot operate the unit. You can only turn on and off from the main unit but no operation. I got this 14,000 BTU window AC for my workshop here in Florida, and honestly it’s been a lifesaver in the heat. My shop gets brutally hot during the afternoons, especially with tools running and the sun beating on the building, but this unit cools the space down way faster than I expected. Within about 15-20 minutes you can actually feel a huge difference. Installation was pretty straightforward, and once mounted it feels solid and secure. I like that it has multiple modes including eco, sleep, dehumidifier, and fan settings because Florida humidity is no joke.
