I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. The size of this refrigerator is "Huge". I highly recommend using the service to assemble and install. After reading the instructions, I quickly realized that it's not for me. The refrigerator is elegant and we absolutely love it. I would recommend. Oh, for those that like to figure things out without consulting the user's manual, good luck...you will need the manual..
