This bed took nearly 4 hours to put together but that's because we realized 2 pieces were backwards when subsequent peices didn't fit. Follow the instructions closely, pay attention to the holes in the pictures, and don't tighten the screws until the bed is nearly fully assembled. Overall the bed is nice. My son really wanted a loft type bed so we chose this one for the look and also based on the good reviews. A lot of people said it was fairly easy to put together. The directions kinda sucked and it was just annoying to put together. Everything was labeled nicely at least. The insert with the Allen type key bolt isn’t our favorite type of securing mechanism but we cut the Allen key and made a drill bit making it a lot easier. Some of the wood pieces weren’t perfect or hollowed out enough. A piece actually came damaged but Wayfair sent out a new one right away, which was much appreciated. It doesn’t feel like the most solid structure. It’s fine to be sleeping on but I did warn my 4 year old not to be jumping or hanging on it. Time will tell how it holds up.. Gina. Ny, NY. We're overall very happy with the bookshelf and cube system. It looks great in our family room and corrals our kids' toys. We like that the bookshelf holds a lot of books and is easy for our toddler to utilize. The drawer below the bookshelf pulls out easily and fits lots of stuffed animals. The cubes make it easy for our toddler to see her toy options. The open shelves and bins allow our toddler to clean up without assistance. The unit, while it took a while build, was easy to put together. The instructions were straightforward and easy to follow.
