My first worry was will it arrive in one piece. The packaging of the sink was thick foam, fully cushioning it, protecting from bumps and knocks which occur in the normal delivery process. Fits perfectly in the space, no problems occurred in the install. Purchased an older home, gutted the kitchen, thought I’d save some money on an apron front, double sink. The double sink was lighter in weight constructed of thinner material. Had it for 2 years when it was damaged when a 3 qt cast iron Dutch oven pot bumped the bottom of the sink creating a hole. My handiman, said it should have chipped but not have caused a hole in it. The cost of the old one was roughly 250, you get what you pay for. The new sink has been cast from a heavier thicker material. First impression is ‘that sink is HUGE!’ It is 37” across, hard to find a drop in of this size. What a gorgeous sink. It’s just as the pictures if not better. We haven’t installed it yet but I’m sure it will be great. The chiseled front looks good, it has a grey color in it since the front is not treated. If you wanted the front to be black you just need to seal the front with a wet sealer. This sink is exactly what I wanted! I was looking for a sink with the drain on one side. This leaves plenty of room on the other side for drying dishes. It is sloped perfectly to the drain. It is also lightweight compared to other sinks. I recommend adding the sink grid. I LOVE this sink. It's beautifully crafted, the water runs toward the drain, and it includes a very nice sink grid (sink grids can get very pricey and if they are not included, it's hard to find one that fits perfectly that doesn't cost a small fortune). I have an InSinkerator, so did not need the included drain cover and basket - but they look MUCH better than the InSinkerator drain ;). Note, the sink is very heavy.
