Works well, but there is a learning curve. Very well built, easy to put together. Don’t know about the burnt grease taste that everyone raves about. I use a water pan under my meat to prevent grease from falling into the coals or onto the diffuser. Came out great. Bought this several months ago. Although I sent the link with specs and installation instructions to the builder's subcontractor, he installed the grill on wood supports which is combustible. Of course, the builder blamed us for not buying via his subcontractor (which would have been much more expensive). After the subcontractor made a steel box with cement board to address the combustion issue, we discover he didn't allow room to pull the grease pans out.
