Solid and assembly was straight forward. However, we had a very difficult time attaching one wall because the hardware was recessed deeply in the wood. This made it so the male end was unable to reach the female end. We had to remove hardware and add small shims to push hardware out. The only issue I have is that while the bulb may be dimmable, the wall dimmer/switch connecting to it via an outlet and extension cord creates a flickering light and audible buzzing noise if dimmed lower than about 50%..
