Soft white is a good color for most indoor spaces throughout the day, though it should be noted that this isn't the same as "warm white". 1100 Lumens is quite bright, so they definitely are good at lighting up a whole room. I love these light bulbs!!! My house was so dark and gloomy and I hated being in the dark and these light bulbs makes my house so bright and even my husband likes them. This is the only place where I could find this bulb. I moved into a house that has unique light bulbs throughout the house. I checked local stores and other websites.
