These are excellent commercial grade LED bulbs which can replace traditional HID metal halide/high pressure sodium bulbs. Ballast must be bypassed, as these use just normal 120V line voltage. These burn only 10% of the power as traditional HID bulbs, yet they produce the same lumen output. Also as advertised, these feature a sliding switch which allows you to select the wattage and lumen output, a fantastic feature which allows for some customization. Another great feature of these bulbs is the fact that they can be used in many standard base light fixtures with an inexpensive (not included) E39 adapter. Great for garages and other fixtures which allow the extra space for the larger height and width of of these bulbs. Easy to assemble with simple instructions. Sleek looking and functional. I immediately set up on our balcony terrace and enjoyed radiated warm dry heat. Bonus it also gives off light so you can read outside at night. If you put on floor, the top pan gets very hot so be cautious if you have toddlers close by. Great quality that will work great for my dusk to dswn light in my driveway.
