This patio bench is made of High-density polyethylene (HDPE),which resists cracking, breaking, and peeling. It has the beautiful touch of wood, but unlike wood or PS materials cracking in dry conditions or rotting in frequent moisture, this chair stays sturdy no matter the weather (hot, rain, or snow). The color is long-lasting and won't fade or dull. They look like new, even after a few years of use! The backrest of our bench is not totally straight, a slightly tilted angle provides good support for your back.

Nice bench. I was able to put the bench together myself, but I deducted a star because it would have been easier if the pictures on the instructions were larger and clearer. This gazebo came well packaged. The instructions were spot on and we had it done in 14 hours. It is very sturdy and well thought out. I suggest that you seal the wood before putting it together as others have said. We mounted this to a pre- existing concrete patio. The mounting bolts were a little small so we changed out the way we mounted it to the slab. This thing is not moving! I had one missing part and I called them on a Sunday and a holiday weekend at that and they answered. I gave them the serial number and the part number and the gal said it will arrive in 2-5 days. I ordered this item and I love it! It was easier to assemble than I thought and it looks great. I love the 2 styles of side burner (sear burner and regular burner) and the grill looks amazing. I look forward to having a gathering and using all the features. The sink is nice, the storage and large castors are great aspects. One issue we noticed is that some of the nails on the top go all the way through the panels, which affects the finish and could be a concern for durability and appearance. Once put together, it feels sturdy and solid, and the workspace is roomy and functional, making it a great addition if you enjoy grilling and staying organized.
