Really like this microwave. We built an ADU attached to our daughter's house because of my husband's physical limitations, and this microwave is great for a wide variety of cooking. My only complaint is the filters: WHY do I need a screwdriver to take them out for cleaning? The ability to have the air filter tray come forward is great. I had a ge microwave already. This was basically the newest version. Be careful. The mount bracket is a little different and the top screws are in a different spot. Just got the microwave set up and working, so time will tell. The MCM1611ST is very similar to a Magic Chef I bought in 2004. The old machine needed some parts, which impressively Magic Chef still sold, but the cost could have approached this new machine. The old machine had an all stainless case and cavity, which these new machines lack. It was also made in Korea, while all the new machines are made in China.
