I spent a long time researching powerful exhaust fans to replace a non-ducted microwave exhaust. A recirculating exhaust is almost worthless at removing grease and cooking odors. I love cooking and often make dishes with strong odors I don't want to smell when I finish. This fan is so powerful yet not overly loud. It has removable stainless grates that can be put in the dishwasher. It's beautiful while not as overwhelming in size as many exhaust fans are.
