Easy to assemble with simple instructions. Sleek looking and functional. I immediately set up on our balcony terrace and enjoyed radiated warm dry heat. Bonus it also gives off light so you can read outside at night. If you put on floor, the top pan gets very hot so be cautious if you have toddlers close by. I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. We had our contractor install two of these heaters with the covered patio extension we built last spring. No matter what I do I cannot get this pole in the middle level. Other than that it’s great. I fired it up temporarily to make sure it worked & it did. It’s sitting inside because I need a cover for it. I will move it out on our covered breezeway. We live in FL so this is perfect for those nights it’s a little too chilly. It’s a gift so I didn’t want to run it too long. For the most part the assembly is easy. I have three parts left that are not in the directions at all. I even had both my kids read them to make sure I wasn’t missing anything. My guess is they are for the center support & have something to do with holding the propane tank. I love the “table” that goes around it. Perfect for a few little decorations. That I can get level despite the center pole. It’s all ready to give to my partner for Christmas. We got our 30” range a week ago. It shipped out the same day I bought it, and arrived well-protected in lots of packaging. We were anxious about buying it sight unseen, but it is everything the website claims. I have always cooked on gas, and of course anticipated induction would be slow, etc. Instead, the learning curve for me is how incredibly fast and responsive the cooktop is. It’s kind of amazing. I’m very happy to have an electric oven that doesn’t vent like gas, as well - I can bake sourdough loaves free-form since the oven holds steam. And we love no longer having the inevitable “small leakages” of propane in the house. Overall, the range is gorgeous and high quality. I’m still puzzled, though, about the timer for baking/cooking. If I’m correct, there is a single timer available? I haven’t had time to explore that further yet - but I can’t imagine why on an electronic appliance there wouldn’t be at least a few timers available, and easily accessible (for all sorts of things - not just cooking with the range).
