It is a very nice piece of equipment, with just a few comments. First, the microwave function is very quiet, a plus. However, the internal vent fan is very loud. More to the point, while air blows out the top vent, there is very little flow into the two-under vent portals, not very efficient removing smoke and odors. The control and number pad is very difficult to read in normal light. Either the text needs to stand out more, or ideally it would be better if illuminated. Unfortunately, these lights don’t work in my house. They are made for new construction and in order to make them work in an older house. You have to retrofit the light fixture, which would cost more money than it’s worth. They are not made to go right into an existing light fixture. You will need to order the springs from the company for them to work unless you have newer construction they won’t work. That being said, they seem like good quality. It looks just like the picture. I bought 2 to put over my island, they are the perfect size, not too big and not to small. The smoked gray glass and gold blend beautifully. The only thing that I did not like, because it did not match, is the box that goes up to the ceiling, which is BLACK. That made the light fixture have to many colors and distracted from the beauty of the pendant. I painted it with the same ceiling white paint to wash it out. Now it's perfect.
