This tub is very large and deep. The drain is high enough to get completely covered and it is long enough to lay all the way back. The material is some kind of stone so it is very heavy to move and get in place. This also gives it a cool stone feel when you’re in it. The tub is beautiful and I can't believe the price for a stone resin tub. I was quoted more for an acrylic tub, which would have cheapened the overall look of my bathroom remodel. It was perfectly crated and undamaged. It took 4 men huffing and puffing to haul it to my primary bath, but it was just installed and all is working well. A few things to note: it is thinner than I imagined it to be based on the weight, so I hope it doesn't mean it is more fragile in the long term. the matte will definitely get scuffs when installing, but it comes right out with the sander.. It comes in a crate and its 300 pounds so beware. I paid for the delivery service and it was no problem although the men visibly struggled to get it into my bedroom. My master is on the first floor. I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. This bathtub is fabulous! It arrived well packaged in a wooden crate so no damage whatsoever. It has a very minimal look, which I love! It’s solid stone and weighs 400 pounds so make sure you have plenty of help moving it. We had it professionally installed so I can’t say if it was easy or not. Really nice clean lines. I like that I could choose the color of the stopper. I picked the gold color. I wish that the tub overflow was also gold but it came in silver. I made sure the plumbers flipped the tub around so you can’t see it. The acrylic is very lightweight so interested to see how it holds up. Love how it has anti slip texture on the inside bottom. One suggestion for Wayfair the product description could be more detailed, particularly around specific measurements for an oval tub.
