I needed something thin that would still allow my office chair to roll over it freely, and this fir the bill. I like the nice subtle design. It really balances out the darkness of my wood paneled room with the more contemporary light colored and metal furniture. It really ties the room together. It also cleans up easily - no issues with any of my vacuums. Though it is somewhat thin, it's still heavy enough to stay put when vacuuming. I deducted one star because I noticed after about a year or so, the rug started losing its shape ever so slightly in the area where my chair rolls around. Like it was bubbling/warping a bit. Love it at my front door! It is much thicker at one end than the other. Both ends are folded under and then tucked to end the rug and prevent unraveling but on one end the jute is much thicker and that end wont lay flat. I love this rug. It's exactly what I was looking for. I imagined a textured, cream, natural rug in my living room, and this fit the bill. I've bought 3 over the years (since 2019, I think) since I have pets and . . . I mean, this essentially white, not really washable rug just doesn't really work with them! You can't vacuum it every day; it's not sturdy. It is beautiful, however. It's a compromise about beauty vs practicality in this case! This area rug is ultra soft . I love walking on it. It’s a thin rug but I liked that. I have a rug liner underneath to keep things from sliding and it gives me that extra cushion. The color is very muted and neutral beige, cream, gray and white. Works well to calm down my vibrant blue cooor chairs. Rug laid flat as soon as I laid it down.
