This beautiful and stately palm is probably Australia's most attractive Livistona. It has moderately costapalmate, glossy, bright green fan leaves in a spherical, moderately dense crown. The leaf segments are lax and deeply divided and give the leaves a slightly weeping appearance. The ringed trunks can reach up to 25 or 30 m (80 to 100 ft.) in height. L. nitida grows in the mountains of southern Queensland to an altitude of about 1000 m (3300 ft.), and, in cultivation, is fast growing, tolerant of drought and quite heavy freezes, and easy to maintain. Zone: 8A-11 Typical Height: 40-50ft

The Pencil Cactus (Euphorbia tirucalli) also commonly called milk bush due to its thick, white sap is native to semi-arid tropical regions of Africa and India. In the wild, the Pencil Cactus can grow up to 30 feet tall and well over 6 feet indoors. This stem succulent is not a true cactus and photosynthesizes in its stems, not through the small leaves that appear at the end of its new growth (which are inconsequential to the plants health). The plants have slender, slightly toothed stems without any foliage growth. The name derives from the branches, which are about the diameter of a pencil. When new branches sprout, the end of the branch can be tinted slightly pink and tiny leaves may appear. These leaves will disappear once the branch matures. The pencil cactus needs high levels of light and moderately low moisture. It is an excellent houseplant and provides an interesting silhouette.
This pencil cactus arrived very stressed out with a lot of weird yellow growth and Sapir dehydrated it is alive, but I’m going to have to repot it immediately and the potting soil is like cement so yes I got a life planned, but it’s going to have to go into hospice for a while. Warneckii' dracaena (Dracaena deremensis 'Warneckii') is a green dracaena cultivar with white stripes along the edges of its leaves. It is a shorter dracaena that matures to a height of only 4 feet tall. While its low light requirements make it easy to grow indoors, it can also be grown in shady sites outdoors in U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 10b and 11. Other cultural requirements for 'Warneckii' are also fairly easy to meet. When these requirements are not met, or if it is exposed to a common chemical, the leaves tend to develop unsightly brown tips. Overwatering, underwatering and dry conditions can cause dracaena brown spots on 'Warneckii' leaves. It should generally be watered once per week but this varies, depending on the season and humidity levels. In dry homes or dry outdoor conditions in spring, summer and fall, 'Warneckii' dracaena may need to be watered more often. A 'Warneckii' dracaena grown in a container should be watered until the water drains from the bottom. Empty the water from the catch basin below the container. 'Warneckii' does not require high humidity but, if the humidity level is less than 40 percent, the leaf tips may turn brown and brittle.

The Ceylon Cinnamon Tree, also known as true cinnamon, is a prized tropical evergreen native to Sri Lanka and southern India. Valued both for its ornamental appeal and culinary significance, this aromatic tree features glossy green leaves and reddish new growth that adds vibrant contrast. As it matures, the tree develops smooth brown bark and a subtle, sweet fragrance that intensifies in warm, humid conditions. When carefully pruned, the plant remains compact and manageable, making it an excellent addition to home gardens, greenhouses, or container patios. In the right conditions, this cinnamon tree can produce fragrant white or pale yellow flowers, followed by small dark berries. Its inner bark can eventually be harvested for culinary use, though many choose to grow it purely for its aesthetic and sensory appeal. Thriving in frost-free climates, Ceylon Cinnamon Trees appreciate a warm, humid environment and can be grown indoors near sunny windows or outdoors in zones 911. With proper care, this unique tree rewards growers with lush foliage, a tropical flair, and the satisfaction of growing one of the worlds most cherished spice plants.

Mass cane (Dracaena fragrans Massangeana or Dracaena fragrans) is also known as corn plant and is one of several popular varieties of Dracaena, including Dracaena lisa, Dracaena marginata, and Dracaena compacta. It has stalky stems and long, green leaves with light-yellowlight-green stripes running through them. It is an easy-to-grow houseplant that requires little maintenance (and even puts up with neglect), making it a great choice for beginners. Although originally from Africa, the mass cane is popular throughout many homes and offices in the U.S. and the U.K. because it is a low-maintenance beauty. For those who are lucky enough, the corn plant may even produce clusters of fragrant white flowers, though this is very rare. Growing the dracaena as indoor plants using different cane lengths, with each cane having sprouted a new head or heads of foliage, makes Dracaena fragrans excellent as a tall indoor specimen. Like all plants, the corn plant produces oxygen and makes the air in your home healthier for all of your family. However, the corn plant is especially good for improving air quality, as it also absorbs toxins. The NASA Clean Air Study found that Dracaena plants remove toxic substances from the air, including formaldehyde, xylene, benzene, and trichloroethylene The corn plant is slow growing, so it does not need frequent pruning or maintenance. The slow growth also means it will act as an ornament in your home, happily filling a space where it can remain for some time without becoming too big for the area.

Bring the taste of the tropics to your home garden with the Avocado Tree (Persea americana), a fast-growing, evergreen fruit tree prized for its rich, creamy fruit and lush, tropical appearance. Known for its glossy, deep green foliage and upright growth habit, the avocado tree adds year-round greenery and can be grown in the ground in warm climates or in large containers in cooler regions. With proper care, this tree will reward you with buttery avocados perfect for slicing, mashing, or adding to a variety of recipes. The tree typically develops a broad canopy and sturdy trunk, maturing into a beautiful landscape specimen. While it may take several seasons to produce fruit, the wait is well worth it. Avocados thrive in warm, frost-free climates, but they can also be grown indoors or in greenhouses where temperature and light can be controlled. A self-fertile variety will bear fruit on its own, though planting multiple trees can often increase yield. Whether you're an experienced gardener or just starting out, the Avocado Tree offers an enjoyable and rewarding growing experience for those who appreciate fresh, homegrown fruit and a tropical aesthetic in their outdoor space. The Russell Avocado Tree is a unique and eye-catching variety best known for its unusually long, slender fruit and excellent eating quality. Native to Florida and well-suited for USDA Zones 1011, this cultivar thrives in warm, humid environments and has become a favorite among gardeners and collectors looking for something both ornamental and productive. The tree itself has a moderately upright, open growth habit and typically reaches 20 to 25 feet in height, making it relatively easy to manage in backyard settings. What truly sets the Russell avocado apart is its distinctive fruitshaped like a gourd or cucumber, the avocados can grow up to 18 inches long, making them a conversation piece in any garden. Despite their unconventional appearance, the fruit is remarkably delicious. The skin is smooth, glossy green, and easy to peel, revealing a pale green interior with a high oil content and minimal fiber. The flesh is creamy, rich, and buttery, with a nutty finish that appeals to those who enjoy a full-flavored avocado experience. Russell avocados typically ripen in mid to late summer, offering a valuable early-season harvest. As a Type B flowering variety, it can serve as a pollination partner to Type A cultivars. Its exotic appearance, superb flavor, and reliable production make the Russell avocado a standout for anyone seeking a striking yet productive tree.

One of the most colorful Dracaena varieties available. The red tinted foliage adds a decorative accent to any room. May be grown outdoors during frost-free weather. Use it as a potted plant, in the garden, or mixed with colorful annual plants in a large patio planter. Its easy to care for, requiring little light or water, and is quite hardy in most temperatures. The Madagascar Dragon Tree is characterized by long, narrow leaves that are extremely spiky. The foliage is generally dark green with edges that are adorned with a reddish purple and can grow up to 16 inches in length. As the tree grows, it will naturally lose its lowest leaves leaving tufts of leaves atop a bare woody cane. Marginata is the coolest looking variety. It grows slower than the other varieties, but has a much more vibrant red pink coloration. Dragon trees do best in partial shade. This means that if youre growing indoors, you should have it on a north-facing windowsill, near one facing east or west, and further away from one facing south. You will know youre giving the plant too much light if the leaves burn. On the flip side, youll know you arent giving it enough light when the accent colors on the leaves start to fade.

The Mango Tree (Mangifera indica) is a fast-growing tropical fruit tree prized for its lush foliage, fragrant blossoms, and delicious fruit. Known for its glossy, evergreen leaves and broad canopy, this tree adds both visual appeal and practical value to any landscape. When mature, mango trees can reach heights of 30 to 100 feet depending on variety and growing conditions, although container-grown or grafted types remain more compact. Mangoes range in flavor from rich and spicy to sweet and citrusy, and typically ripen during the warmest months of the year. This heat-loving tree thrives in subtropical to tropical climates and adapts well to both ground planting and large containers in warmer zones. Ideal for home gardeners seeking a reliable, productive fruit tree, the Mango Tree offers not only flavorful harvests but also ornamental value, with its dense crown, long leaves, and striking seasonal growth. With the right placement and care, it can become a centerpiece of your edible landscape, orchard, or patio garden. A rewarding tree for growers who appreciate beauty and bounty in one.

Dracaena fragrans, commonly known as corn plant, is a popular, durable, easy-to-grow indoor houseplant that is native to tropical Africa. Although it may soar to 20 tall or more in its native habitat, it more often is seen in the 4-6 tall range as a container plant in the U.S. Rosettes of evergreen, parallel-veined, sword-shaped, bright green leaves typically grow to 2 long and 3 wide indoors in containers, but may reach 3 long in outdoor locations. Over time, plants lose their lower leaves revealing bare stems. Fragrant, tiny, white-yellow flowers in round heads appear in terminal panicles. Flowers may be followed by red berries. Flowers and berries rarely appear on indoor plants, however. Limelight features bright, glossy yellow-green leaves which mature to a light lime green. Slow growth rate. Typically thrives in low light interior settings. Matures to 15 tall when grown in the ground outdoors but to a smaller 6 tall when grown indoors in a container. This plant should be grown in bright indirect sunlight, but is known to tolerate lower light levels. Dracaenas require even moisture, good soil drainage, and cannot tolerate standing water. Allow soils to dry slightly between waterings, but never allow the soils to totally dry out. Plants tolerate a wide range of indoor temperatures, but are best grown in temperatures of 60-75 degrees F. Plant containers may be placed outdoors in summer but should always be brought back indoors in early fall before outdoor temperatures begin to dip below 50 degrees F. This is a frost-free tropical perennial.

An easy care indoor houseplant, this Philodendron has beautiful broad shiny leaves that are large and deeply lobed, adding a tropical look to your home. Its long leaf stems can grow up to 5 ft. L, creating interesting shadows because of the unique cutout leaf edges. Native to South American rainforests, the plant grows best when the understory jungle environment is mimicked, dappled filtered bright light, high humidity and an indoor temperature above 70° F. Unlike other Philodendron, the 'Selloum thrives in well-drained, moist but not soggy soil. In ideal environment, will grow to 5 ft. tall x 3 ft. W. It is important to keep this plant away from small children and pets, like curious cats, because while they improve the home's air quality, if ingested, they are also slightly toxic to humans and animals. Grow outdoors in warm climates as a large entryway accent, around the pool, beside a deck or patio, as a corner-of-the-house shrub or as a decoration for a blank wall. In cooler areas, simply grow as a houseplant.

This artificial grass plant ended up being a perfect addition to our living room. We have a natural plant vibe going with a mix of real greenery, and this blends in so well that most people cannot even tell it is not real. The color tones look very natural, the blades have a realistic shape, and the feathery tops give it that extra touch that makes it stand out without looking fake or overdone. The quality surprised me right away. It feels sturdy, holds its shape nicely, and does not look cheap like some artificial plants tend to. The fullness of the plant also makes a big difference since it does not look sparse or thin, it actually fills the space and gives that lively look you want in a room. We placed it in a spot where real plants would normally struggle with lighting, and it solved that problem instantly while still keeping the same aesthetic. We have had multiple guests comment on how nice it looks and ask where we got it, thinking it was real at first. It is also nice not having to worry about watering or maintenance, especially for areas where keeping live plants can be a hassle. It adds height, texture, and a clean natural feel to the space without any effort. It is one of those pieces that quietly upgrades the whole room.. Nestor. Westmoreland City, PA. Sun Apr 12 2026

This boxwood cube does what I needed it for--going above a stone wall to camouflage the trash cans behind. My installation has it as eye level, and as you walk past, you can see areas where it pulls away from the metal frame (I retie those with a zip tie as I see them). But the frame is sturdy, and the greenery--while not real feeling--looks good outside. I will update on fading as it is outside longer--but right now, I'm happy with it!. Sandy. St Augustine, FL. Hardy in USDA plant zones 8-11, it is not recommended to grow this plant outdoors in cooler climates.
