This boxwood cube does what I needed it for--going above a stone wall to camouflage the trash cans behind. My installation has it as eye level, and as you walk past, you can see areas where it pulls away from the metal frame (I retie those with a zip tie as I see them). Well, when it first arrived, I have to say I was a little disappointed when opening the box it was not even in any packaging just laying there in the carton and did not look that appetizing. I think they could’ve also thrown in a insert telling customers they could expand it with their hands and make it look bigger so I not to star off the packaging and nothing in the box but the plant other than that it looks great I’m very happy with it. I do think it was a little overpriced for what it really is but I really do like it so I’m keeping it and I have attached some photos. The plant is a great size and looks quite real (it’s the one in the back on these photos), but the smaller branches have no wire, and they don’t bend well. So it’s tough to get them to lie down the way you want them to. I’m planning to use my hairdryer to warm them up a little and then fold them down, and I’ve also got some fairly heavy little magnets that I plan to attach to the ends of the leaves to get them to droop a bit. This beautiful and realistic-looking expandable hedge completely changed the view from my kitchen window! I am so happy that I am buying a second one for my upstairs balcony. For a larger area, this is so much easier than buying small squares separately and attaching them all. That being said, you do need something to attach the zip ties (which are included) around the bamboo backing to hold this up. If you aren't attaching to a railing with supports, and you're attaching to wood, you could use hand screw-in eyes or even open cup hooks to support this. This took me all of 5 minutes, and it felt secure with only 4 zip ties, but I ended up using a few more because they include 10. For my large area, I needed to expand it all the way out, so if you don't need to go this wide, it will look even fuller. This is heavy-duty and looks very realistic with the bamboo branches and different shades of green. There are both curled and flat leaves.
