It doesn’t occupy space and is not easy to be damaged. It needs 3 AA batteries. The battery power supply is not limited by the site. With the timer function, you don’t have to go out every night to turn them on/off. 6 hours on and 18 hours off. My only concern was the heat from the bulb potentially igniting the paper, but I was advised by the company to use an LED bulb which emits lets heat and so I am trying that. I love this painting…one of my favorites. This print is quite good. It is very large (bigger than I expected). The only reason I took off a star is because on the back of the frame there are MANY staples that I can’t get out.
