I took a while to write this because it took us six months to find a contractor to put it together! Everyone is busy during peak contractor season. The finished product is amazing. It's a great deal and an amazing shed with lots of storage. Very stylish. I think our contractor had to buy paint, roof shingles and a couple of extra pieces of plywood. Be prepared to spend a day assembling this kennel! It arrived in 3 large boxes, 100lbs each but well packed and lined with wood. All of the various parts are letter coded, the best is that all of the bolts and screws are the same size for the entire structure. The materials are heavy duty, it is best to have 2 people working and holding panels to get everything lined up. My only complaint is the main doors. For some reason the hinges ARE the screws, which doesn’t seem secure or could loosentighten over time. Second is that there is a fairly large gap between the doors and the rest of the kennel where all other pieces are very tight together. I’m using this for chickens and will need to come up with a solution to fill in that gap. All in all, I think this is great quality. It came with ground stakes to prevent the wind from taking it. It was a bear to put together, things didn't line up always and so we had to bang them into place. As for it being water tight, fingers crossed, only time will tell. This is a very large run for the price, and it is sturdy, but there were some things that I wish I had been aware of. I might still have ordered it, but I was a tad disappointed. If you want a truly secure run, you will need to invest hardware cloth and sweat. On the positive side, the wire panels are sturdy, and the hardware is substantial. They are solid welded wire panels, put together with double brackets. It should do a good job of keeping out large predators. However, the gaps between panels are wider than they appear in the picture and there are large gaps to each side of the door The door is a duck-in door. It's about 3'3" tall, although quite wide. The third image shows that more clearly. The "roof" is a series of triangular trusses with cross beams, so while it is 6' at the peak, you have to watch your head. That said, it's plenty high enough for the chickens, and one can get in there to work, carefully. The roof is mostly canvas. The welded wire does not continue ANYWHERE that is under the canvas in the images. There is a big triangular opening at both ends. Quality control could have been a bit better, but pieces are well enough manufactured to be sufficient for it to function. Assembly is tedious, that's a lot of panels! What we are doing to make the run more secure is to put a 2' band of 1/2" hardware cloth up the sides, and also a 2' skirt of the same, staked and weighted down. The entire roof area will be covered with 1/2"-1" hardware cloth, and we will cut triangular panels to fill in the front and back. My chicks love their new coop. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Instructions were a pain. Also the boxes are delivered with box 3 on top which is good to access the installation instructions but the floor is in box 1 where we started. Screws and parts were in packages that didn’t match the instructions. Had to play hunt and seek for everything. The truss information in the instructions were wrong as only two trusses had the notch for the door but no reference for the other 2 matching trusses we had so ended up instead of removing the whole roof and taking an additional 4 hours we had to adjust the trusses for the door manually to accommodate the door swing - why all trusses aren’t the same is beyond me or the instructions were better. This shed is nice! It’s not what I expected but so far it’s been good. It is very windy where we live and so far the shed has been super sturdy. It is resin and has channels. Not sure how the floor will hold up, but the walls once assembled seem great. Assembly is a lot of prep and it takes 2-3 people. Comes in pretty heavy boxes so be prepared.
