I took a while to write this because it took us six months to find a contractor to put it together! Everyone is busy during peak contractor season. The finished product is amazing. It's a great deal and an amazing shed with lots of storage. Very stylish. I think our contractor had to buy paint, roof shingles and a couple of extra pieces of plywood. I will give you the breakdown, it took a licensed builder a full week to put it together but it's done right. Just to let you know if you are a DIY it will probably take three times that. WORTH IT. This is a very large run for the price, and it is sturdy, but there were some things that I wish I had been aware of. I might still have ordered it, but I was a tad disappointed. If you want a truly secure run, you will need to invest hardware cloth and sweat. On the positive side, the wire panels are sturdy, and the hardware is substantial. They are solid welded wire panels, put together with double brackets. It should do a good job of keeping out large predators. However, the gaps between panels are wider than they appear in the picture and there are large gaps to each side of the door The door is a duck-in door. It's about 3'3" tall, although quite wide. The third image shows that more clearly. The "roof" is a series of triangular trusses with cross beams, so while it is 6' at the peak, you have to watch your head. That said, it's plenty high enough for the chickens, and one can get in there to work, carefully. The roof is mostly canvas. The welded wire does not continue ANYWHERE that is under the canvas in the images. There is a big triangular opening at both ends. Quality control could have been a bit better, but pieces are well enough manufactured to be sufficient for it to function. Assembly is tedious, that's a lot of panels! What we are doing to make the run more secure is to put a 2' band of 1/2" hardware cloth up the sides, and also a 2' skirt of the same, staked and weighted down. The entire roof area will be covered with 1/2"-1" hardware cloth, and we will cut triangular panels to fill in the front and back. This is like a pop up tent poles - it’s not hefty as it can easily be moved. The wire that wraps around the frame is thinner wire than I would have liked. I can cut the wire with normal scissors. I would hope to have thicker wire to not flail- as any weight pushed on it protruded out. The frame is big and has two hinged Dutch doors- with a lock - it comes with a tarp and very excited about it to cover the chickens but once again worried if it lifts it. - since that hasn’t happened I still give this 4 stars.
