The design definitely looks a little on the cheap side in person, but the material more than makes up for it. Very much waterproof and the backing is amazing, it definitely doesn't move around on the floor. Doesn't look like it will last very long with a lot of wear and tear, but for the pricepoint it is well worth it. I like my new rug. It arrived safely. It was VERY difficult to get the rug out of the multiple layers of plastic, or whatever the wrapping was made of. I worked at it for almost 30 minutes.
