I had this installed on a very old exterior door that only had a basic gold lock set, it didn’t seem secure at all. As Smith's boats started to receive awards such as the coveted Gold Cup of the American Power Boat Association, the Chris Craft name started to become a star among nautical enthusiasts. He continued to thrive in the speedboat competitions and his string of victories further accelerated the explosion of his company's success. His standard, 26 foot runabout was powered with a Hall-Scott four-cylinder 100 HP engine along with electric lighting, reverse gear, and water-cooled exhaust. We had this system installed in our remodeled bathroom in September 2023. For the most part, it has worked beautifully and we've been ecstatic with it. However, it is not without issues. It has to be re-paired with Amazon Alexa every 3 months, unlike every other Alexa skill out there. Why? Who knows. Because Kohler says so, I guess. Lately it has been needing to be re-paired every 2 weeks (today was the 3rd time). Also today it said there's a firmware update, but when I go to update I get a message that the shower is offline and I need to check the wifi connection. How? There's no wifi settings on the shower setup or in the app, or in my Kohler account anywhere. There is an Advanced/Locked section of settings that requires a PIN on the in-shower control and I have no idea what the PIN is or how to find it; we didn't set it and we can't get into these settings. Impressive model! I haven't even removed it from the packaging as yet. I am a woodworker and planning to construct a case for it as I did for the Independence, a model I finished this year. Only question I have is about the masts when first received. Upon opening the top of the shipping box I remember all the sails were 90 degrees to the hull. Now after 2 days, all the sails are 30 degrees to the left. I included a shot looking down at the model. I was interested to know if others have noticed this or am I mistaken? Also found this after unpacking (see picture) of rear mast warped at top.
