Very well made. Installed it on my 30X40 metal pole barn. Secured it with Gorilla Glue Adhesive caulk and two 6 inch lag screws. This cupola will never blow down. It comes in white with a black metal roof. Weather vane is also all black. I painted the sides green with a white accent stripe. Painted the eagle gold and the NSEW white. Looks great. This traditional weather station is both a work of art and an instrument at home in any fine study, library, office, or upscale restaurant. The antique weather station displays an air of quality and accuracy one would expect with a fine, handcrafted weather instrument from Ambient Weather. The concept that 'decreasing atmospheric pressure predicts stormy weather' was postulated by Lucien Video and it's the basis for a weather prediction device called a storm glass or liquid barometer. It consists of a glass container with a sealed body, half-filled with water. A narrow spout connects to the body below the water level and rises above the water level, where it is open to the atmosphere. When the air pressure is lower than it was at the time the body was sealed, the water level in the spout will rise above the water level in the body and when the air pressure is higher, the water level in the spout will drop below the water level in the body. Also includes a comfort meter, which measures temperature and humidity, and a comfort zone indicator.

The product was perfect for our needs. The price was very fair and the financing was great. The set up was easy. The only thing that should be addressed is in the set-up of the CO2 gauages and connections. That section of the manual could use a little more clarity.
