This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. This traditional weather station is both a work of art and an instrument at home in any fine study, library, office, or upscale restaurant. The rich, wood framed classic weather station measures barometric pressure (liquid). The antique weather station displays an air of quality and accuracy one would expect with a fine, handcrafted weather instrument from Ambient Weather. The concept that 'decreasing atmospheric pressure predicts stormy weather' was postulated by Lucien Video and it's the basis for a weather prediction device called a storm glass or liquid barometer. It consists of a glass container with a sealed body, half-filled with water. A narrow spout connects to the body below the water level and rises above the water level, where it is open to the atmosphere. When the air pressure is lower than it was at the time the body was sealed, the water level in the spout will rise above the water level in the body and when the air pressure is higher, the water level in the spout will drop below the water level in the body. Also includes a comfort meter, which measures temperature and humidity, and a comfort zone indicator.

We had this system installed in our remodeled bathroom in September 2023. For the most part, it has worked beautifully and we've been ecstatic with it. However, it is not without issues. It has to be re-paired with Amazon Alexa every 3 months, unlike every other Alexa skill out there. Why? Who knows. Because Kohler says so, I guess. Lately it has been needing to be re-paired every 2 weeks (today was the 3rd time). Also today it said there's a firmware update, but when I go to update I get a message that the shower is offline and I need to check the wifi connection. How? There's no wifi settings on the shower setup or in the app, or in my Kohler account anywhere. There is an Advanced/Locked section of settings that requires a PIN on the in-shower control and I have no idea what the PIN is or how to find it; we didn't set it and we can't get into these settings. All though we did use the entire weather vain. The goose is what we were looking for, and it was perfect. Let me explain. We were task we building an interactive exhibit for display in the Dallas Arboretum. The exhibit was titled Jack's Bean Stalk thus the need for a goose to lay a golden egg. The goose is mounted on the top of a twenty foot wooden structure built to simulate a beanstalk growing to the sky. Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. I have one of these that was frozen with rust. I had to hacksaw the rod and then drill it out. I replaced the rod with a 5/16 stainless steel bolt after threading the base and sharpening the head end. I did the same, with the new one, to eliminate the problem.
