Replacing another Eagle that blew away in a storm. Did a lot of research, ended with this weathervane. It is a classic but, it doesn’t seem to be so ostentatious. Liked the design better of the next size up, but thought it might be too large (tall) for my copula. It’s winter, so I have not climbed up to install it yet. i have to admit i had no idea what to expect. Truly i just thought these would be some cheap light weight metal brackets. they were delivered very quickly. I went to pick up the box off the patio... again, thinking these were probably some cheap light weight metal brackets, but the box was heavy! quite heavy. I brought them in and pulled them out of the box and was very surprised and pleased at the weight and quality of these brackets. We had spent a lot of money on a large under mount hand hammered copper metal sink and i was concerned about the weight of the sink being carried by just the cabinet. i found these online and took a shot at them. very stout piece of metal and nice construction. Returning from his recent trip to Morocco, Ebern Designs has been reexamining his vision regarding color. The impact on his perspective from the places he saw in the cities of Fez and Marrakesh forced him to step outside of his comfort zone. All though we did use the entire weather vain. The goose is what we were looking for, and it was perfect. Let me explain. We were task we building an interactive exhibit for display in the Dallas Arboretum. The exhibit was titled Jack's Bean Stalk thus the need for a goose to lay a golden egg. The goose is mounted on the top of a twenty foot wooden structure built to simulate a beanstalk growing to the sky.
