To the packing company of this wreath: please, please STOP packing these beautiful wreaths in such tight square boxes! The two wreaths I ordered are/were round arrived square. So much so I thought I must have ordered the wrong wreath shape since I have seen square wreaths before. The back of the wreaths are made with the round grapevine wreath as a foundation. The wreaths themselves are the plastic, but not the cheap looking plastic. I was so hoping to hang them up right away but now have tied some stretchy plastic PT bands around them to see if I can make them round again. I had to give up on the idea of having a real “preserved” boxwood wreath since my wreaths will be outdoors and the reviews I read said the chemical to preserve them runs and stains your porch green. I don’t know…just what I read about the “preserved”boxwoods that look so real because they are real …just preserved. These Haute wreaths are UV resistance treated from Haute Decor. Very close to what Hobby Lobby sells but only more full. Also, Darby Creek sells some beautiful boxwood wreaths that look so real and treated for outdoors but I just could not pay $250 per wreath. Hopefully my wreaths will reshape in no time and I can enjoy them. I am happy with the texture, looks and fullness of them and the hanger on the back. Just wished they had arrived round! ❎. Lisa. Wreath was packed well for shipping and arrived in great shape. It is not gorgeous... for that youd pay double, but it is nice for the price and is the size expected. Yes, it looks artificial up close, but not completely plastic. The artificial lambs earstachys are somewhat convincing. I think it will hold up in the weather. It will likely be a nesting site for robins come spring, which is why I didnt opt for a more expensive wreath.
