I have two senior dogs and it gets cold here in the Northeast. The cover on this pet heating pad is so soft and it is removable and can be machine washed. There is a timer setting and the temperature range is from 61-69. The instructions say different temperatures but the ones I mentioned are the ones on the remote. I do like that the cord is protected with a casing around it, my dogs are not chewers but this is a nice feature for the ones that are. I have two smaller dogs so they both fit on this pad. Improvements: - The area where the wheels attach got pretty beat up, would be nice if there was something else to put on top while not using the wheels. - the handles on top are plastic, and although they should be used just to move the top of the crate, one was missing when I returned back to Texas. Bought for my retro camper van (which is harder to find things that fit. The mesh is very sturdy so it should last a long time. A great product! I was pleasantly surprised to find this existed! The only note, it is VERY strict about 72 hours... I tried to set it up to open once daily at 9AM for three days but since I was setting it at 7AM it wouldn't let me set past 7AM on the 3rd day. Which is ok!
