I’m 75 so this thing is a bit hard for me. I didn’t realize the compartment for clean water and used water were in the back. It’s heavy to turn around for me and lifting the water is difficult. You must wash the whole thing every week. My sink is high, newer apt, I’m 4 11” and that’s lifting at chest level. I think for younger folks it’d be great but when it’s done cleaning the water there is about a days worth for me. Otherwise for what it is it’s great! It does take up one counter at my apt. RO600 is a next generation system. Accompanied with Modern Technology, it comes with a Smart Panel. When the system is turned on and filtered water is being distributed, the "ON" light flashes. When the system is in standby mode, this indicator remains on. The operating panel has a filter life monitor. When the filter change is required, the machine will beep and the white light will indicate good filter life, while the red light will represent bad filter life.

So far I do like this it does make the water taste a lot better. Our Ceramic Under Sink Water Filter is dependable and built to last for years and effectively removes harmful bacteria, sediment, and many other contaminants from water. Water travels through a ceramic cartridge and effectively removes harmful bacteria such as E. coli, Fecal coliform, Salmonella, Streptococcus, cysts (Cryptosporidium, Giardia), and sediment. Filtration is as low as 0.5 microns. The cartridge can be cleaned up to 30 times (about once a month). Water flows through our SMART special house blend of 2 types of coconut-shell GAC (including Catalytic) with 2 types of Eagle Redox Alloys (9500 & 6500) & anion exchange resin. This blend effectively reduces & removes heavy metals, chlorine & chloramine, pesticides & herbicides, pharmaceutical by-products & other inorganic substances such as petroleum byproducts. Ceramic and Tourmaline balls enhance the water and maintain a more alkaline pH. Water flows through granulated activated carbon (GAC). GAC is universally recognized and widely used as an effective adsorbent for a wide variety of organic contaminants, such as chlorine (99.9%), chemicals linked to cancer (THM's, benzene) pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, volatile organic compounds (VOC's), PCB's, MTBE's and hundreds of other chemical contaminants that may be present in water causing bad taste and odours in your drinking water.

I have been using these filters for the last 7 years. I live in LA and the facet water isn’t the best to drink. These filters make a healthy water that taste good. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the Aqua True Carafe system for about a month now. Water taste without mineralization is acceptable. I’ve already had to demineralize the unit which takes time and water. To prevent this from happening so quickly I will try to make sure the waste water is emptied promptly after filtering. I’m leaving the canister empty most of the time. I’ve had some trouble getting the plastic water canister to ‘lock’ in place when full of water, finding I have to push down more than is intuitive.
