The beverage/spring water faucet is great - strong water flow. It keeps a bubble at the tip but it doesn't drip. I kept a cup under it and it kept dry with no leaks. The whole thing does blow up just fine with the valve open, but it won’t hold up as well without the valve closed with the ties. This is a great buy! I’m in Florida and as long as you drape it over a few chairs and let it dry out no mold has grown on it. You also don’t have to lift it up for it to drain. Get rid of mattress air bubbles with the Blue Magic Super Burper. pull up the waterbed valve, remove the pull-cap and insert the super burper into the valve. Gently work all air bubbles to valve and burp out the air bubbles. Remove the burper and reinstall the pull cap.
