Very good quality and heavy. I wanted something that was durable, could drain and leave out all winter. Fairly easy to set up. Only issue, If it's windy out you have to shut it off. Now that the fall has arrived birds are making frequent visit to bathe and the squirrels think it's there public drinking fountain. I was quite apprehensive about buying such an expensive and heavy (300 lbs) item for delivery to Canada, as oversized items can be tricky to return. This was extremely well packaged. It was delivered by moving truck on a wooden pallet (as depicted), and we ended up taking NINE BAGS of packing material to the dump. I offer the following tips for assembly 1) Its very heavy. We used three people to lift the basin onto the pedestal, and a fourth person to navigate the power cord so it wouldnt get crushed. 2) The instructions that come with it are quite basic. They tell you to make sure the rubber stopper is secured well in the basin to avoid leaks. I pushed it in by hand, which wasnt enough, as the basin wasnt holding water. I had to disassemble and carefully tap the stopper in with a rubber mallet, taking care to avoid the power cord running through the center. 3) The rubber stopper appears to be one solid piece, which was confusing at first, but it actually has a hairline split in the side which allows you to press the power cable into the middle of the rubber plug. 4) They provided a large roll of black tubing that needs to be cut. The first segment I cut was a little too long, which caused the hose to crimp and impeded water flow. I shortened it considerably, but this made connecting it a little difficult. A second person needs to support the weight while the connection is made. 5) The clear tubing for the top portion (which is smaller in circumference than the black tubing) was missing. Fortunately we had a suitable replacement on hand. There are no interlocking pieces, it is all held together by weightgravity, so it requires a solid foundation. Initially, I was a little put off by the colour of the fountain as it is much more tera cotta (orangebrown) than I thought it would be, but it looks nice now that it is all assembled and running. My aim was to replace our old acrylic fountain that had broken apart over time. Hopefully, this concrete one will last for many years! I love this Fountain however, about the plastic plug at the base of the bottom bowl tends to pop up and allow water to drain, my handyman was able to Jerry rig a system that holds the plug down so problem is solved but manufacturer should address.
