This type of armoire cabinet was also called a “noodle cabinet” because the round moldings surrounding the cabinet resemble round-shaped noodles. This armoire is built of elm using traditional Chinese joinery of tenon and mortise. Smooth, elegant, and classy. Great to use as an entertainment center or media cabinet. This armoire has 2 shelves and one secret compartment at the bottom.

This magnificent 19-century antique Chinese cabinet was retrieved from Shanxi province, a centuries-old mountain city located in Northern China. This cabinet is kept almost in its original condition. The structure and surface restoration were very minimal. A clear protective finish is applied to keep the original color from deteriorating. It consists of 2 separate pieces. The Chinese word (auspicious) and symmetric dragons and clouds are hands carved at the bottom apron. The small cabinet on the top can be placed and used as a completely separate piece. This authentic antique Chinese cabinet will be a substantial showpiece in living rooms, great rooms, or family rooms.
