This commercial grade downlight is ideal for new construction when specified with a 4" x 2 1/8" square or octagonal J box. It is also conveniently UL Listed for wet conditions only indoor wet locations such as above a shower. For exterior they would need to be installed in damp location such as a covered porch, soffit, etc.. A place where the fixtures would not receive direct saturation.

Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult. These look better than the average thin wafer lights we install. I thought when I ordered them they would change colors, but my electrician said they don't. I like that you can flip the inner circle up and direct the light where you want it. They look substantial without taking a lot of space in the ceiling to install. I would definitely buy them again.. These are great lights. The adjustable feature for color temperature works very well, and the lights themselves seem to be of good quality.
