This is a really nice track lighting kit with standard installation and a familiar rail design. The track mounts easily, and the heads clip in and twist, which makes placement anywhere along the rail simple. Everything fits together cleanly and feels well made right out of the box. What really elevates this set is the fixture quality and flexibility. The heads are larger than typical track lights and have a smooth, modern look that feels more premium. The LED is integrated into the fixture, so there is no need to deal with replaceable two pin bulbs (which can sometimes be a pain to insert), and it should last a long time. Each light has a five setting color temperature selector on the back, ranging from warm 2700 to bright 5000. This commercial grade downlight is ideal for new construction when specified with a 4" x 2 1/8" square or octagonal J box. It is also conveniently UL Listed for wet conditions only indoor wet locations such as above a shower. For exterior they would need to be installed in damp location such as a covered porch, soffit, etc.. A place where the fixtures would not receive direct saturation.

Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult. This is the perfectly sized LED outdoor light fixture for us. I have taken various shots for you so you have an idea of scale and appearance. It is elegant and understated at the same time, which is what we wanted given that the fixture needed to be right next to an awning, and located in a rather narrow piece of wall as you will observe. It provides beautiful up and down lighting. We wanted a good amount (not glaring) light for ease of access in/out of that door, and wanted to add a bit of interest at that location by incorporating the contemporary (or modern if you will) feature of up/down lighting. We needed something which would not fight our other outdoor fixtures, so this is the perfect fit. If we had a totally contemporary or modern home, I would probably order this for the entire home. The look of the outside of our home is Mediterranean so all of outside has that flare, which is why this particular fixture had to just do its thing as it blended in with the black and white stripped awning, as it also brought in a focal point of interest at that otherwise boring location. It did all of that! Now, this is the replacement light. The first one which came in was installed (as this one) by our electrician. It become hot almost immediately and after not even an hour, I had to turn it off as it was so hot we could hardly touch it and it made the awning very hot. I immediately reported it to Wayfair and they handled it directly with WAC. They sent me this replacement which is perfect. That is why I gave them the full 5 stars. It's not just the product, it was what happened when the one in a million doesn't work well, how they handled that situation. They told me I could keep or pitch the hot one yet I am going to pitch it as there is no way I could use it nor give it to anyone. Again, the replacement is perfect, does not get hot, gives wonderful light as you can see, is a beautiful shade of black, blends well with various styles and could stand beautifully alone if it had to, and I am beyond happy with it.
