My first worry was will it arrive in one piece. The packaging of the sink was thick foam, fully cushioning it, protecting from bumps and knocks which occur in the normal delivery process. Fits perfectly in the space, no problems occurred in the install. Purchased an older home, gutted the kitchen, thought I’d save some money on an apron front, double sink. The double sink was lighter in weight constructed of thinner material. Had it for 2 years when it was damaged when a 3 qt cast iron Dutch oven pot bumped the bottom of the sink creating a hole. My handiman, said it should have chipped but not have caused a hole in it. The cost of the old one was roughly 250, you get what you pay for. The new sink has been cast from a heavier thicker material. First impression is ‘that sink is HUGE!’ It is 37” across, hard to find a drop in of this size. Our fireclay sinks are molded from a mixture of clay and other minerals, then glazed and fired in a kiln around 2900°F. The result is a glossy, durable ceramic, which is denser and stronger than porcelain. Its non-porous glaze will not absorb odors or stains, it will not scratch, and it is practically impervious to cracks and chips.

What a gorgeous sink. It’s just as the pictures if not better. We haven’t installed it yet but I’m sure it will be great. The chiseled front looks good, it has a grey color in it since the front is not treated. If you wanted the front to be black you just need to seal the front with a wet sealer. Nantucket Sinks' Dennis33-BGS is a 33" reversible Single bowl workstation farmhouse fireclay sink with included grid and cuttingboard. The interior ledge is designerd to hold the included wood cutting board. This helps make tasks more efficient and keep your countertops clear. This sink is reversible so the apron style you like can be displayed. One side has an arched design on its apron front while the other has a 2 inch high horizontal ledge. The smooth glazed finish is scratch and stain resistant and show off the sink's elegant lines. Sides of sink have a slight taper from top to bottom. There are many benefits to fireclay. Its glazed surface is eco-friendly requiring less cleansers. Apron Height is 9.875 inches. Due to the firing process, dimensions are nominal and may vary to actual up to .25". Apron style base cabinet required to support this sink. *A note about fireclay: small cracks will appear on the unglazed underside of the sink, these are cosmetic only and have no impact on the performance of the sink.

This is a large sink- we bought the 36" one for our kitchen. While we haven't installed it yet....construction is taking longer than expected- it was the perfect choice for our kitchen.
