Pull out the bed frame under the seat. There are two length options. When it is not fully pulled out, it becomes a chaise sofa, and when it is fully pulled out, this sofa can quickly turn into a king size bed for resting.

Overall I am satisfied with the product. My concern is the velcro to secure the back cushions. I wish they had manufacturered that with something better.
