Great starter coop! We ended up stapling chicken wire around the entire outside for extra protection and also added a second latch to the bottom of the door. Impressed with the amount of roosting space plus ground space. I plan on redoing the latches on the roosting boxes as they aren’t the strongest and predators “could” get in or my chickens could get out. We did have missing pieces to 4 of the latches and had to go buy some. This is a really nice chicken coop. It did take three people to put it together and took us a total of 5 hours to put together.(older people so took longer) It will fit 6-8 regular chickens but we put 10 frizzle chickens in it with plenty of space for them. (frizzles are less than half the size of regular chickens) The wire around the bottom is great at keeping out predetors but we dug down about a foot and put wire to keep them from digging under. It took longer to put together than I thought, but it’s perfect. My daughters and I are ecstatic! As for the little critters…. They seems very pleased so far. The chicken wire came with a hole in it, which we patched right up. Easy peasy. The directions were wonky. Everything is self explanatory except the hardware for lock. Very cute. I've got mine set up as a chicken run. It's inside a chain link fence. It's stable, but not necessarily heavy duty (I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving my chickens overnight in it, even also inside the chain link fence. At 5'1, I can stand straight up inside it with plenry of room to spare. And I easily drag it all over my yard by myself which is convenient. Its very well thought out chicken coop. We made a few changes to make feel more secure for my peace of mind (better locks on doors). The only thing is they need to think of adding something for air flow since it doesnt have any real source for that. If need to ill update after using it for a while! This is awesome! We bought it for our ducks and while it took longer than expected to assemble, it is made of quality, heavy-duty materials. Our birds will be protected from the weather, and my husband (who has owned poultry before) says it's a great set up. Our Large Chicken Coop, sized 61"L x 38"W x 40.2"H (11.53 ft²), is ideal for backyard poultry keeping. It can house 2–5 adult chickens with a well - planned layout for rest, nesting, and daily activities. It has dual - side nesting boxes with 6 compartments and openable lids for easy egg collection. The curved solid wood roof helps shed rain and snow and strengthens the structure, and thickened L - shaped metal brackets protect nesting boxes from outdoor animals. For convenience, it has front and rear access with sliding windows and doors that can be used as ramps, and three interior roosting perches. Made of solid wood, it has a pull - out tray for cleaning and can be connected to the PET88 extension run (sold separately) for layout expansion.

Smaller than what is projected in the picture, but true to size of the dimensions that were provided. Some of the pieces came in damaged, such as the corners of the two nest box lift doors on the sides that are not intact and will need to be repaired. Not a setup I would leave uncovered / exposed to the elements as the materials are thinner / less sturdy than expected for something to house animals.
