I aquired the Viper Orion Electronic Dartboard and Cabinet Set as a gift for my husband. He has been wanting to add a dartboard to our gameroom for some time. Because we have a wild preschooler, who seems to immediately be drawn to anything even slightly dangerous, we couldn't have a traditional bristle board due to the sharp tips on the darts (whose presence would have most certainly prompted a future trip to the ER). As a safer option, I selected the Viper Orion Electronic Dartboard which comes with six (three of each color) soft-tipped (anti-ER visit) darts. It was fairly easy to install and my husband did not require any assistance while putting it up. The set also comes with an attachable flip down light that sits atop the cabinet when not in use. The additional light is great for evening play or a dimly lit corner. The cabinet itself is sturdy, although the wood is fairly soft. It looks great on the gameroom wall and it's a fun addition for the family. Since we can't all play pool yet, its nice to have a game we can all play together (including the wild child).. Holly.
