Will caution that my contractor was surprised the opening to duct out was higher than he anticipated; mentioning this for anyone doing a remodel to ensure their contractor understands this before closing up walls in case any framing needs to be adjusted. This purchase was a bad choice. For one, it DOES NOT come with the chimney piece! Wayfair referred me to the manufacture to purchase that piece for an additional $250 but it wasn't available to ship until January 2019! So, I had to have one custom made so my contractor could finish my kitchen remodel. Also, the blue lights on the front are SO bright, they are annoying. Wish I could turn them off. The range hood came well packaged and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. As we were missing a few inches to the ceiling with the included chimney component, we ordered the longer version directly from the manufacturer. Including a picture of the range hood after install, and a second picture after painting. Our only issue with the product is that it “whistles” at its lower speeds and due to slightly inconsistent suction, the metal grills were vibrating against the lower horizontal frame.
