Great knife set! Really happy with the purchase. We are trying very hard not to put them in the dishwasher but occasionally one gets by us and our kids do it, however the knives have held up! The scissors are a great extra. The other thing I love not only about the knives but the block they rest in doesn’t take up much counter space and the color is beautiful. Update 121625 - Ok, Doors have been installed now my husband will put holes in for the doors for the handle hardware and wait for our warmer weather to paint doors (black). He will paint the trim and doors black. But these doors provide such a much more expensive and quality look. The contrast between the original doors and these 5 panel doors are night and day and the soundproofing is sooo much better. We have a open concept home and to have the solid core makes such a difference. So much so we were going to leave one of our doors that is not seen in the main area original but he had me order another one today. I will say these doors were prices extremely well over the big box stores or any competitor. I can not express how much these doors have increased not only the value of our home but the beauty. Our home is an open plan and the doors being as they are you hear everything and this was his biggest complaint outside of the fact that they were plain and ugly. I am impressed with the look and feel of this 2 piece carving set. They are well constructed, feel heavy, but not too heavy to cut all meats from turkey to Rib-eye roasts.
