It’s a good, high quality knife overall, but I have other knives in the under $100 range that are comparable or better. So while it’s a good product, I am not convinced it has the best value proposition. Pros: very sharp; nice weight on the handle - pretty much the opposite of flimsy; great size knife for everyday cooking - does a perfect job of chopping veggies, cutting meats and chicken. Appears to be high quality that will last over time although seeing as I’ve only had it for a few weeks, I can’t comment on longevity yet. Cons: just after a few weeks of very light use, the knife did not pass the tomato test - it was very tough to cut through even cherry tomatoes. Amazing...I grappled with buying these columns for 2 years, because of the non-refundable policy, so I had to be sure. I have a small porch so I knew I couldnt get the columns to wide or the proportions would look odd. So I used makeshift cardboard and the like to determine what to buy...I made the best decision with the 5.63 width columns they look amazing. My contractor bought 5 wood post from our local big box store and used brackets to install them on the porch. He used his nail gun to fasten each wrap to the wood post, he said it was rather simple to install. Next he caulked all the small nail gun holes and painted ( per instructions for winter protection) looks amazing. The brushed copper hardware are beyond beautiful.They are GE, sent tools to do it and it was super easy.The only issue, was that it took several weeks for it to be delivered. It was considered an appliance and had to be signed for.
