My old folding 13 yr old untreated teak table reached its end, so I was only too happy to find this one to finally replace it. Good delivery and packing, one big flat square box, no damage. I was in love with the wood right out of the box, did not want to mess with it. It’s smooth, even all over, and solid. All we had to do was attach the legs. However, following other reviews and since it would be exposed all summer and possibly a rainy fall before I store it for winter, I treated it with a couple layers of teak oil. It still looks gorgeous after 3 weeks and I’m very happy with my purchase. I was eyeing some 1500-range teak tables on Wayfair that looked better in pictures, but decided on this one when I found it. This set is as sturdy as it is beautiful. It was also very easy to put together. My patio is on the 3rd floor and the set was split between 3 boxes, this made it so much easier to get up the stairs (there was no white glove delivery option). One chair did ahave a small crack in the seat base but it does not seem to have an impact on the quality or sturdiness of the chair. This was exactly what I was looking for as I needed a smaller table for my space and at 63" it was the perfect size. I was more than pleased with the quality! I think it looks beautiful! The assembly was time consuming, but went very smooth until the last two bolts, which did not fit through the holes drilled. Not too bad considering the amount of bolts on 4 chairs and a table.
