This insert range hood can be remote controlled, with the remote control infrared transmitting up to about 9.84 feet away. We also control the built-in range hood by gesture sensing and touching the digital panel. It has 4-fan speeds, whether remote control, gesture control, or touch control to adjust the speed of the fan. The power cord is 53 in. long and is connected to the power supply through a 110-120V 3-prong plug.

This 30 in. wall-mounted range hood is constructed of premium stainless steel. Complete with aluminum mesh filters that remove smoke and grease from your cooking area. This model also comes with 2 bright energy saver LED lights, low noise level operation, 900 CFM airflow, push-button, and 3-level fan speed. All the components such as damper, mounting hardware, flexible ductwork, and damper are included for easy installation. The adjustable and telescoping chimney can fit a 7.5-8.5 Ft. ceiling. This unit is convertible, can be vented out of your dwelling, or recirculated (ductless) with charcoal filters.

Works well. I though it had a clock but it doesn't. Attention must be paid to the coupling of the duct and the blower outlet as it may not allow the flaps (outlet) to open if the duct is not fully stretched out in the duct connection. This is a great range hood fan and I researched many many different ones before coming across this one. It's actually a Canadian company but the actual company was out of stock . The hood is gorgeous with everything I wanted it to have ( 4 lights, not just 2 and they're DIMMABLE!!), 2 simple dials; one for lights and one for fan speed ( no ugly black electronic panel with yet another clock..lol) and it's pretty quiet, even on the highest speed which is a powerful 750 cfm. This is a very well built range hood. Plenty of power for clearing smoke from frying and steam from hot pots. Reduction of odors from the kitchen while cooking are noticeable! Light is plenty bright and even on the highest setting, fan noise is not objectionable. Black stainless color blends well with other similar colored appliances in our kitchen from GE, Samsung, and KitchenAid. Only concerns are that you absolutely should inspect both the box and appliance prior to installation. Ours arrived with a large and noticeable dent in the hood that could not be repaired. Wayfair support was helpful swapping this. Carefully inspected the new unit prior to installation. No issues. Note this does not come with a 110v cord. If your installation is using a 110v outlet for power, you will need to purchase a grounded appliance cord separately. Note that photos were taken with light on brightest setting.
