The labeling indicated 30 which is the standard size for most house stoves, 400 CFM, I chose because I do a lot of cooking so most of my burners are being used and sometimes the oven at the same time. You would need a hood that can carry out smoke, heat, steam, grease, etc. from cooking out of the house which is to be installed under the cabinet and has a duct for the air to go outside. Bought this hood since I needed to replace my old one and I must say this thing is absolutely amazing!! Easy installation and it came in perfect condition with no damages at all, it has a motion detector for your hands so you don’t have to press any buttons which was very very cool, also it sucks up the smoke so fast and well. Definitely recommended if you need a hood for your kitchen. It has such a clean finish to it and it should go well with any kitchen. I definitely recommend this hood unlike other hoods that are slow this one will make sure your smoke alarm won’t go off if you are cooking and release too much smoke. This Range is good is absolutely stunning right out of the box, and promises to be even more attractive and functional after I install it. I’m in a holding pattern right at the moment because I have to replace the corner cabinet due to a manufacturing defect. I hope to update this review with additional pictures once completed. The stainless steel is very solid and tends to resist finger marks, unlike lower grade goods that I’ve looked at in appliance stores.
