The included grid helps water flow to the drain and prevents accidental chipping of the sink from dropped dishware. The sides of the sink have a slight taper from top to bottom and the basin is sloped for good drainage and glazed smooth in a glossy white classic finish. Due to the firing process, dimensions are nominal and may vary to actual up to 0.25". Apron-style base cabinet is required to support this sink. This handcrafted kitchen sink is constructed from 18-gauge, 304 grade stainless steel. The flawless, smooth texture and golden ratio R10 rounded corners makes it more aesthetic, functional and the food residue will not leave in the corners, make it easy to clean. Brushed satin finish tend to hide water spots, scratches and helps resist corrosion and rust. The drain on this model is close to the wall of the sink and it comes with basket strainer and drain cover to help protect from blockage and other items falling into the drain. The bottom of the sinks are adopted scientific X-shaped diversion design which make it fastly, effectively drain off water and keep it cleaning and drying. It also comes with a protective stainless steel bottom grid to safeguard the surface of your sink. The outer side of the sink's bottom is not only covered with sound dampening pads (asphalt), but also sprayed with damp-proof paint coating to achieve the effect of noise reduction and moisture absorption, making the sink quieter to use and reducing condensation at the bottom of the sink.
