The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. I love this hood. I couldn't find a black one in local stores, so I was happy to find this one. When it first arrived it was dented, but the manufacturer replaced it. Our contractor vented it outside the house. He had to put some trim at the top to cover the holes, but it looks great!
