After a full month of use all is well so far. We tend to be fairly gentle with our sink and pans (stainless steel) in it while washing. An attractive sink at a good price. This is a fireclay sink, which means it is fired at a lower temperature than a porcelain sink, but at a higher temperature than a ceramic sink. Higher temps increase hardness and durability. This becomes apparent as this sink will stain if left soiled overnight, unlike a porcelain sink which you can rinse and wipe clean. It is not a big deal as it does come clean with some bleach cleaner and a sponge. I am happy overall. Note: I bought a sturdy stainless steel sink grid, not included, to protect the bottom from nicks and scratches (~$50), which I recommend. Can be used as a trivet or a cooling rack as well.. It is absolutely beautiful, and comes with several sink features any at home chef would love. The sink is exceptionally smooth with no visible pores and has a wonderful stone finish. The craftsmanship on this product stands above many other commercial sinks I have looked at. We have not yet had a chance to install. Overall the cutting board looks of good quality and the scrap tray is perfect with its deep pocket holding capacity. This sink is absolutely gorgeous and fit perfectly with our standard size cabinets. I do want to note that this doesn’t not come with a drain/tailpipe so you need to buy that separately. Also the Kohler sticker is way off center which you can see in the last pic where the faucet hole is on the countertop is dead center on the sink and the sticker is pretty far off to the right, but I’ve seen this is a common thing and a lot of people take the sticker off themselves so it’s not a huge deal..
