These are great lights. The adjustable feature for color temperature works very well, and the lights themselves seem to be of good quality. This commercial grade downlight is ideal for new construction when specified with a 4" x 2 1/8" square or octagonal J box. It is also conveniently UL Listed for wet conditions only indoor wet locations such as above a shower. For exterior they would need to be installed in damp location such as a covered porch, soffit, etc.. A place where the fixtures would not receive direct saturation.

Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult. Great product for the price. The LEDs make it easy to change colors. Easy to install. This is the 10" and we could have gone a little bigger for the space. Had we gone with the 13" we wouldn't have to touch up paint around it, but I also like that they aren't that noticeable and something bigger might have been too obtrusive as this is just a small rectangle between multiple rooms. I like this light. It is a great concept and really does give the effect of a skylight. Installation was straight forward with an existing light connection and didn't require too much work. It took a while to find this style of chandelier that didn't include a remote control for dimming since I wanted to connect it to a smart dimmer switch so it would integrate into the rest of our home's Lutron smart control system. Not quite as bright as expected (based on other reviews), but it'll work for my needs. Love the light and the quick connect for the wires were great. It is very heavy and definitely a two person job. Instructions need to be better. Tip is when connecting to the mounting bracket a magnet tip screwdriver is essential. Start with the side that us closest to the edge of the light fixture. They are all different depths. Once you get two in your helper(s) can relax a bit while you secure the other two if you do two across from each other. My ceiling isn't that high but we needed two ladders. One for each of us and my helper is 6'3". Again because it is solid wood and heavy. Many compliments on the light though.
